Bahamanian police reveal details of John Travolta extortion plot, A "refusal to transport" document is at the center of the John Travolta extortion plot, it has been claimed. The "mystery document" reportedly at the center of the John Travolta extortion case has been revealed. Sources with knowledge of the investigation says that the document is "an authorization for transporting Jett Travolta in the ambulance." John Travolta's son Jett passed away earlier this month after suffering a seizure at a vacation home in the Bahamas. Tarino Lightbourn, an EMT who arrived at the scene of Jett Travolta's death, was charged with conspiracy to commit extortion for trying to blackmail John Travolta for $25 million.

It was initially believed that an attempted extortion scheme involved pictures of Jett shortly after his death, but latest developments point to sensitive document that the alleged schemers believed could be used to bribe the wealthy Hollywood couple for $25 million. Tarino allegedly had a "refusal to transport" document signed at the scene by the actor that he thought would be damaging. It's not. People reports:
Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Marvin Dames downplayed the importance of the document.

"The document did not apply in the Travolta case," Dames tells PEOPLE. "It did not apply because he was very ill, and so, the only alternative would be to take him to the hospital. Refusal to transport documents are for cases involving minor injuries. If your injuries are minor and you don't want to be transported, the ambulance driver would produce that form. It waives responsibility on the part of the hospital."
Dames insists the Travoltas did everything possible to save their son.
"We were satisfied from all our investigations that the Travolta family and those who rendered aid to Jett did all that was humanly possible to revive Jett," Dames says. "All did what they were able to resuscitate him."

"There's no evidence to support that there was any effort to avoid medical treatment," he adds. "Lightbourn said that himself in several interviews."
Call me cynical, but I'm thinking this latest development is going to lead to lots of lurid speculation that Travolta and Preston somehow hindered treatment of their son. Let's hope they leave these grieving parents alone. Some people have insinuate that this poor kid died due to the fact that they're scientologists. The rumor is that John and Kelly knew their son was autistic and left him untreated due to scientology beliefs. But sources connected with the investigation say John Travolta told EMT workers he wanted to fly his son to Florida where he could get be care rather than drive by ambulance to the local hospital...which was 45 minutes away. John and Kelly did not refuse treatment for Jett, but had an issue over where he should be treated.


John Travolta and Kelly Preston lost their son earlier this month but are reliving his death every day thanks to this unfolding scandal. There much be something in the water in the Bahamas, and I am not talking about the salt.
