Sen. John McCain Will Go Down As America's Greatest Footnoted Loser

Source: blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

John McCain must have had a blast watching the events of yesterday. He better hope history forget him because he will be known as that white dude that lost to the first "black" president, a footnote. The last thing a man who seek the White House want is to be is a footnote. In other McCain news, John McCain's wife Cindy was set to be on the next season of Dancing with the Stars until Mr. Party Pooper had to go and ruin everything. The New York Post reports:
Our impeccably placed source says, "Just before Thanksgiving, Cindy McCain started talks with producers to appear as a dancer onthe show. She wanted to do it very badly." But this week, Sen. McCain "put the kibosh on it." Reps for the show and McCain didn't return calls.

A spokesperson for TV channel ABC, which broadcasts the show, said they would "not comment on casting rumors." But can you really blame John for not letting his wife on the show? She could have probably done something alien to Sen. McCain and actually win. In these pictures below, McCain is not crying. He has something in his eye, I am guessing Obama put it there. LOL... Click on pictures to enlarge.

Dude let your wife do
Dancing with the Stars if she want to do so. It is just a stupid television show and its not like you are the President. From War Hero to the Greatest Loser!

Misleading Reports by Dow Jones Newswires Killed 2 Day Rally on the Dow

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Talk about a total disappointment and damn bias... This just shows how far the American "mainstream" media will go to get Obama elected. The Dow moved over 400 points down in about 5 minutes into the close. And it seems that the sell-off was caused by a false reporting by a leading newswire service. General Electric investors were shocked late in the trading day when reports began circulating that the conglomerate’s chief executive said the company was looking to maintain its 2009 profit at 2008 levels, giving the entire stock market a kick in the teeth just as trading was ending for the day. This is not easy to sort out, but most traders put the bulk of the blame for the sell-off on purported comments from General Electric's chief executive. After about 18 minutes after the close of the market it came to light that the DJ Newswires' shocking story was completely phony.

But the false report was already broadcast on CNN, Bloomberg and CNBC at about 3:45 which was 15 minutes before the markets closed in New York. However, General Electric's CNBC network later said the comments attributed to Jeffrey R. Immelt were taken out of context, apparently from the response to a hypothetical question posed at a dinner in Madrid... GE Corporate Communications has responded to the Dow Jones Newswires' false reporting by saying that Mr. Immelt's comments were not only taken out of context, but he is not making any new forecasts. The statements were not new, so this breaking news report may have been a dirty ploy to end the rally in the stock market which would help Obama.

We have seen a recent gain in McCain's poll numbers that some are correlating to the gain in the stock market. The inaccurate report by Dow Jones Newswires ended one of the greatest 2 rallies in the history of the of the US stock market. The Dow ended the day about 75 points lower at 8,990.96 as a result of bias journalism by Chris Sanders and the Dow Jones news service.

The comments by GE's chief executive were made to Dow Jones Newswires but were misquoted late today. Dow Jones Newswires has some explaining to do (Reporting by Chris Sanders; Editing by Jan Paschal) and this incident needs to be investigated by the SEC.

A spokesman for General Electric
Co said on Wednesday that a Dow Jones report quoting Chief
Executive Jeff Immelt as forecasting flat profit in 2009 was
“completely out of context and inaccurate.”

Immelt’s comments, made at a business group dinner in
Madrid, Spain, were a response to a hypothetical question about how to
motivate managers during a time of financial crisis, said
Russell Wilkerson, a GE spokesman.

“There was no forecast, no guidance given here,” Wilkerson
told Reuters in a phone Plumbers in Sydney - 23 interview.

The Dow was up by well over 200 points and drop to under -200 in just about 5 minutes when the inaccurate news hit the business news channels. The last 15 minutes of trading was insane. To cause a move in the market of more than 400 points with false news is a scandal. The 400 point drop is about $600 billion lost to the markets.

Barack Obama's Freudian Slip, Talks About His Muslim Faith

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Sen. Barack Obama was on with George Stephanopoulos September 7th, Obama slipped and mentioned “His Muslim Faith” during the questioning. A classic Freudian Slip? You decide.

Barack Obama slipped up in an interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s Last Week, where Barack Hussein Obama says:

"You are absolutely right that John McCain, ah, has not talked about my Muslim faith…"

George then interjects:

"Your Christian faith."

Thank George Stephanopoulos for correcting him that he is suppose to be Christian, because we all know he is suppose to be be a Christan. Only Obama himself and his Muslim brother in Kenya think he is Muslim.

Obama just can’t seem to keep his lies straight when he isn’t reading from a teleprompter. I don't care if he is Muslim or was a Muslim when he was younger but I do care if he is lying about his past. This whole lead up to the election is a job interview for President of the United States, and I am sure no one in their right mind would hire a person for a job who lied in their interview. Even if that job is for a entry position at a local 7-Eleven or Kwik-E-Mart. The problem is not that he is a Muslim at heart but rather that he is a LIAR. Who is pretending to be a Christian in America for political advancement. Lets be honest, in America today its better politically and easier to be a Christian if you want to run for high office. I just don't trust this guy!!!

Bill O’Reilly Interview with Barack Obama on Fox News - Part 1

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

While the Republican National Convention was taking place, Democrat Presidential candidate Barack Obama had a sit-down with Bill O’Reilly for what could be called the interview of the year. Bill O’Reilly
finally got the chance to interview Barack Obama. Bill has been asking for a long time, and he’s airing the interview in multiple parts next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, so there will be more to come.

O’Reilly is as giddy as a little girl over his interview with Obama.

One particular part of Bill O'Reilly's interview with Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., has been getting a great deal of attention: Obama's new language that the surge of US troops in Iraq "succeed(ed) beyond our wildest dreams."

Here's the full exchange: LINK :

O’REILLY: I think you were desperately wrong on the surge, and I think you should admit it to the nation that now we have defeated the terrorists in Iraq, and the Al Qaeda came there after we invaded, as you know. We defeated them.

OBAMA: Right.

O’REILLY: If we didn't, they would have used it as a staging ground. We've also inhibited Iran from controlling the southern part of Iraq by the surge, which you did not support. So why won’t you say, "I was right in the beginning. I was wrong about that"?

OBAMA: If you listen to what I've said, and I'll repeat it right here on this show, I think that there’s no doubt that the violence is down. I believe that that is a testimony to the troops that were sent and General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker. I think that the surge has succeeded in ways that nobody anticipated, by the way, including President Bush and the other supporters. It has gone very well, partly because of the Anbar situation and the Sunni awakening, partly because of the Shia military. Look…

O’REILLY: But if it were up to you, there wouldn’t have been a surge.

OBAMA: Look…

O’REILLY: No, no, no, no.

OBAMA: No, no, no…

O’REILLY: If it were up to you, there wouldn’t have been a surge.

OBAMA: No, no, no.

O’REILLY: You and Joe Biden, no surge.

OBAMA: Hold on a second, Bill. If you look at the debate that was taking place, we had gone through five years of mismanagement of this war that I thought was disastrous. And the president wanted to double down and continue on an open-ended policy that did not create the kinds of pressure on the Iraqis to take responsibility and reconcile.

O’REILLY: But it worked. It worked. Come on.

OBAMA: Bill, what I've said is - I've already said it succeed beyond our wildest dreams.

O’REILLY: Why can't you say, "I was right in the beginning, and I was wrong about the surge"?

OBAMA: Because there's an underlying problem where what have we done. We have reduced the violence.

O’REILLY: Yes.

The Surge Success is a Problem for Obama

Lies About Gov. Sarah Palin Exposed and The Truth Revealed

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Sarah Palin
, and her family, have been subjected to unprecedented scrutiny, and has been smeared by many in the liberally biased media. No family in the history of America's presidential elections have been so smeared by the mainstream media. In the past, the children of the politicians were left alone and never mention. The attack on the Palin family by the media have back fired and there in now national outrage against the media and there many lies.

Gov. Sarah Palin presents a gift-card donated by Wal-Mart and The Salvation Army to 7-year-old Charline Fager. Fager is the daughter of Alaska Army National Guard Spc. Kristopher Fager, 207th Aviation.

Here are eight lies that have been responded to with the truth:

1) Palin “Joined a Secessionist Political Party”

The Charge: Unsubstantiated Internet reports insisted Palin was once a member of the Alaska Independence Party, which critics call a secessionist political movement and supporters say is dedicated to seeking greater state control over federal lands across Alaska.

The Facts: Palin has been a registered Republican since 1982. There is no record of her ever being a member of the AIP, or any party but the GOP. Palin’s husband has been a member of the AIP in the past, but since 2002 has been a registered independent.

(See: Party Official Says Palin Was Not a Member)

2) Palin Supported a “Nazi Sympathizer”

The Charge: “Palin was a supporter of Pat Buchanan, a right-winger or, as many Jews call him: a Nazi sympathizer,” Obama Florida spokesman Mark Bubriski was quoted as saying in a Miami Herald article.

The Facts: While mayor of Wasilla, Palin wore a Buchanan button during the sometimes presidential candidate’s 1999 visit. But Palin actually supported Steve Forbes in 2000, and served as a co-chair on his Alaska campaign.

In the weeks after the 1999 report of her wearing the Buchanan button, Palin said: “When presidential candidates visit our community, I am always happy to meet them. I’ll even put on their button when handed one as a polite gesture of respect. … The article may have left your readers with the perception that I am endorsing this candidate, as opposed to welcoming his visit to Wasilla.”

(See: Obama campaign advisor quote is from an e-mail sent to the Miami Herald)

3) Palin “Wants Creationism Taught in School”

The Charge: Palin opposes the teaching of evolution, and would mandate the teaching of creationism in the state’s public schools.

The Facts: Palin said during her 2006 gubernatorial campaign that she would not push the state Board of Education to add creation-based alternatives to the state’s required curriculum, or look for creationism advocates when she appointed board members. She has kept this pledge, according to the Associated Press.

Palin has spoken in favor of classroom discussions of creationism, in some cases. “I don’t think there should be a prohibition against debate if it comes up in class. It doesn’t have to be part of the curriculum,” Palin told the Anchorage Daily News in a 2006 interview.

(See: ‘Creation science’ enters the race; Palin is only candidate to suggest it should be discussed in schools. By Tom Kizzia, Anchorage Daily News, 27 October 2006)

4) Palin “Was Nearly Recalled” While Mayor

The Charge: Palin was so controversial as mayor of Wasilla that she was almost recalled by a popular voter movement.

The Facts: The Wasilla City Council considered but never took up a recall motion after she fired a longtime police chief, who subsequently brought a lawsuit. A citizen’s group dropped their recall bid, and a judge ruled Palin had the authority to fire the chief.

(See: Foes Back Off Push to Recall Mayor)

5) Palin “Opposes Sex Education”

The Charge: Palin opponents say she supported the end of all sex education in public schools. In light of her daughter’s presumably unplanned teen pregnancy, this has been a particularly well discussed Internet topic.

The Facts: “The explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support,” Palin wrote in a 2006 questionnaire distributed among gubernatorial candidates. Palin favors abstinence-based sex education programs.

(See: McCain fought money on teen pregnancy programs, By Sharon Theimer, Associated Press, Sept. 2, 2008)

6) “This Picture Proves Palin is …”

The Charge: A slew of fake, Photoshopped or misdated photographs on the Internet purport to show Palin in any number of embarrassing or compromising poses. One photo claimed to show Palin standing poolside, wearing an American flag-themed bikini, toting a rifle with telescopic sight.

The Facts: The various photos are being discredited and shown to be fake on a number of Web sites. The original of the so-called bikini shot, probably the best-known of the pictures, was shown to have been taken of another woman, with Palin’s head Photoshopped above the body.

(See: Call to Arms)

7) Palin is the grandmother, and not the mother, of Trig Palin

The Charge: The most salacious rumor of all, this theory holds that Palin did not give birth to her son Trig in April, and was actually covering up for her daughter, Bristol.

The Facts: There are a number of photographs showing an apparently pregnant Sarah Palin, as well as a number of published eyewitness accounts of her pregnancy. These include First Lady Laura Bush, who says she spoke with a pregnant Palin at a governor’s conference in February. An assignment manager for KTVA news in Anchorage, Cherie Shirey, has also been quoted saying: “We worked with Governor Palin many times in 2008. Our reporters worked her on location and in the studio and I worked with her myself. She was definitely pregnant. You could see it in her belly and her face. The whole idea that Sarah Palin wasn’t pregnant with Trig is completely, absolutely absurd.”

The McCain campaign, in an apparent effort to counteract the rumors, announced last weekend that Bristol Palin is five months pregnant, which indicated she would have become pregnant before Trig was born, and is still pregnant, meaning she isn’t the mother of Trig.

8 ) Palin cheated on her husband Todd

The Charge: Rumors have bee spread alleging Sarah had an affair with her husband’s divorced business partner.

The Facts: Todd’s partner, Scott Richter, filed to have his divorce file sealed, causing the National Enquirer to allege he was trying to hide an affair with Sarah. The judge denied the request to seal the records, so the Smoking Gun went through the records, and found Palin’s name only mentioned in the motion to seal the records. Richter said in his motion he wanted the records sealed, because reporters were using phone numbers, and other information in those records, to violate his privacy, so he felt sealing the records would stop future reporters from contacting him, and others listed in the records. There is absolutely no evidence that Richter and Sarah had an affair. John McCain threatened to sue the National Enquirer over the story, and now with the new evidence, it appears the National Enquirer will need a good lawyer if McCain moves ahead with the lawsuit.

Sarah Palin Early Television Sportscaster Days

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Gov. Sarah Palin, was a sportscaster for KTUU-TV in Anchorage, Alaska back in 1988 (video below) when she was known as Sarah Heath, before she married an oil company production operator Todd Palin. So this lady knows her sports and thats just fucking awesome.

Here are five more details about Sarah, who is John McCain’s VP pick, you may not already know:

  • Her youngest son has Down syndrome. When Palin announced to friends after 4-month-old Trig’s birth in April that he had been diagnosed with Down syndrome, she wrote them a private e-mail she said: "This new person in your life can help everyone put things in perspective and bind us together, and get everyone focused on what really matters … Those who love him will think less about self and focus less on what the world tells [us] is ’normal’ or ’perfect.’ "
  • She has a son serving in the Army. Palin’s son Track, 19, is expected to be deployed to Iraq this fall. "He’s looking forward to it and we’re proud of him," Palin’s husband, Todd, said. "He’s grown up a lot in the past year." Says Palin: "I’m proud of him but I worry."
  • Her husband Todd is part Eskimo. Together 20 years, Todd, also 44, and Sarah "always wanted enough [kids] for a basketball team," she says. Todd is part Yupik Eskimo and helps run a family commercial fishing operation in addition to a fulltime job as an oil company production operator. As a hobby, he races snowmobiles. He caught Sarah’s eye in high school and they married in 1988. "He was the best basketball player I’d ever seen," she says.
  • She’s a former beauty queen. The 1987 University of Idaho graduate says: "I did the beauty pageants to earn money for college." Adding in a Vogue interview, "They made us line up in bathing suits and turn our backs so the male judges could look at our butts. I couldn’t believe it." The former Miss Wasilla, however, prefers basketball and hunting and fishing to bathing suit and evening gown contests. "I love the outdoors."
  • She has a great sense of style. Palin may be comfortable in a fisherman’s vest or hunting fatigues, but on the job as governor she wears Kazuo Kawasaki designer glasses and black Franco Sarto boots.

… and Sarah is an amazing woman who represents a great example for women in America.

I say Sarah Pain 2008

From a Real American Hero: Dear Mr. Barack Obama

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

An Iraq War Veteran has a personal message for Barak Obama. And I am in full agremetIf Obama had his way two years ago with his plan for withdrawal half of Iraq would belong to Al Qaida and the next half would belong to Iran TODAY. The idea of OBL controlling hundreds of billion dollars of oil does not sit too well with me. On 9/11 people could see the smoke from the World Trade Center from my home so I am NOT a huge fan of Obama's policies.

The Veteran with the message lost his leg in Iraq defending freedom for the Iraqi people while creating a NEW Democracy. I am with the Veteran, I do not trust or believe in Barak Obama. I would say Barak Hussein Obama but he does not like when people use his full name. I as a person when a so-called Muslim name too am offended by Obama's hatred of the name his parents gave him.

Bai Ling Talks Presidential Politics

Bai Ling was looking better than we've seen her in a long time here in West Hollywood: no nip slips, everything contained, and actually. . . cute? Bai Ling was looking better than we've seen her in a long time here in West Hollywood: no nip slips, everything contained, and actually. . . cute? Bai Ling was asked who she is voting for in the Presidential election. She wasn’t sure, but she did nominate herself for President, and she even gave us a preview into her foreign policy. This coming from someone with foreign policy experience.

When Bai-Ling was asked about the presidential election at the opening of “Third Eye Blonde” in Malibu and after saying that she wasn’t really familiar with the two candidates - she went on to say that the next president should have a “big heart.”

Nice to see that Bai-Ling cares… LOVE HER CHINESE ACCENT!!!

The Sarah Palin Effect, Sen. Barack Obama Attacks Gov. Sarah Palin as a Result of Her Popular Poll Numbers

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Gov. Sarah Palin is a surprising force and a poll boost for the McCain campaign with her nomination. WITH fresh polls confirming Sarah Palin has thrust Sen. John McCain back into the presidential race, Barack Obama yesterday broke his silence on the omnipresent Republican vice-presidential candidate, directly attacking her for the first time. The poll makers are leaking the news Sunday that this week John McCain will take the lead from his rival for the very first time. Palin has galvanized the base of the party like nothing else and polls are already showing it. So Barack "I want to rise your taxes" Obama is on the attack. Very Presidential, Doesn't he Have Biden to Do Thing Like This for Him?

Unlike John McCain’s congratulations video he put out when Barack Obama made his acceptance speech as the first black presidential nominee for the democratic party, Obama did not congratulate McCain’s vice president pic, Sarah Palin, for being the first republican woman to get picked as a vice presidential running mate. Obama released the following statement:

"Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency. Governor Palin shares John McCain’s commitment to overturning Roe v. Wade, the agenda of Big Oil and continuing George Bush’s failed economic policies, that’s not the change we need, it’s just more of the same."

Obama is showing his elitist arrogance again. Obama is bashing small town America, and worse he’s bashing, rather than congratulating, a woman who has a chance on becoming the first woman Vice President of the United States of America. Obama is for Obama, not for America, and especially not for women in America. This isn’t the first time Obama has disrespected women.

At least Palin has two things that Obama doesn’t have, and those are good judgment as well as executive experience as a state Governor. Palin has a near 90% voter approval rating by voters in Alaska. Palin also has a strong record for fighting government corruption, while Obama appears to embrace it.

Obama has associations with criminals like his political fund-raiser Antoin Rezko (Tony) who was sentenced to federal prison, racists and America haters like reverend Jeremiah Wright, and terrorists like William Ayers (Bill). The video above reveals a lot of truth about Obama that he doesn’t want you to know about.

The Democrat, who has seen his lead over Senator McCain fall into a virtual dead-heat after last week's Republican national convention, condemned Ms Palin for accepting so-called earmarks - federal funds for often questionable local projects - while a mayor in Alaska but opposing them now.

"I know the Governor of Alaska has been, you know, saying she is (supporting) change," Senator Obama said at a campaign stop in the swing state of Indiana.

"And that is great. She is a skilful politician. But when you (have) been taking all these earmarks when it is convenient, and then suddenly you are the champion anti-earmark person, that is not change.

"Come on. I mean, words mean something. You can't just make stuff up. We have a choice to make and the choice is clear."

But Ms Palin said she was "surprised" the Democratic senator had attacked her on earmarks, saying she "didn't think he'd want to go there".

"Our opponent has requested nearly $1 billion in earmarks in just three years. That's about a million dollars for every working day," she said.

It was thought that Senator Obama would leave the thorny issue of what to do about Ms Palin, whose meteoric rise over the past week has been nothing short of astounding, to Hillary Clinton.

Except that his erstwhile rival for the Democratic presidential nomination has made it clear she will not be an "attack dog" against the self-proclaimed "pitbull in lipstick".

"We're not going to be anybody's attack dog against Sarah Palin," a Clinton insider said yesterday.

Obama is nothing but HYPE and just maybe the second coming of Pres. Carter. Fuck, I did not come to America to get taxed like a damn slave.

http://www.hypemovie.com/

This dude has some balls, the dude tax policy on his website has be changing to soften his socialist image but its clear that it you make over 45K a year your taxes will go up. Publicly he is saying only people who make more than 250k will see an increase in their taxes but that is BULLSHIT. The dude is calculating no tax increase based on 2000 tax rates when taxes rates were much higher. I cannot believe this shit is not on all the news channels. Why people are not talking about this shit?

Game Changer, Sen. John McCain Picks Sarah Palin as his Vice Presidential Running Mate

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Sarah Palin's surprise nomination has created a media frenzy. John McCain (72) announced that Alaska Governor Sarah Palin (44) is his vice presidential running mate on the eve of the Republican National Convention and then everything changed. Palin is a self-styled gun packing hockey playing mother of five children, and political reformer, who has been governor of her state less than two years. I tend to hate all politicians but I like this lady, I like her because she took on corrupt members of her own party and won thus sending their butts to jail. I like her much more after seeing the media tired to destroy her. I am happy to say that all the media attacks have failed and now there is a major backlash against the media for their bias and largely untrue attacks Gov. Palin.

McCain picked Palin in an attempt to appeal to the disenfranchised Hillary Clinton supporters, and women who make up the majority of voters in the United States. If McCain is elected President, Palin will be the first woman Vice President, making history. This woman is one tough broad and I like that, the number two should be tough as balls.

Palin is a brilliant pick. Unlike the arrogant first woman Speaker of the House Mrs. Nancy Pelosi who wanted a jet as big as Air Force One to fly around and promote her book (which only sold about 5,000 copies, if I wrote a book about my balls it would sell more books than that), Palin saved her state hundreds of thousands of dollars by getting rid of the private governor jet to fly commercial airlines, drives herself around without security staff, and she has reformed Alaska’s state government. She’s humble, from a working family, strong, hard working, honest and yes SEXY and unlike Obama, Palin has executive experience as a mayor and state governor. Palin also has a nearly 90% approval rate by voters in her state. And like Obama she has legislative experience as council member.

Sarah Palin for President 2016

ABC News' Gibson lands first Sarah Palin interview. Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will sit down with ABC News anchor Charles Gibson for her first television interview since becoming the Republican vice presidential candidate 10 days ago, Politico reports.

Palin will spend the next few days on the campaign trail before returning to Alaska, where she will record the interview for World News later this week. Palin will sit down for multiple interviews with Gibson in Alaska over two days, most likely Thursday and Friday, said McCain adviser Mark Salter.

Palin won over GOP loyalists with her speech last week at the Republican convention in St. Paul, which drew more than 40 million television viewers breaking all records.

The 44-year-old first-term governor and mother of five has been facing pressure to submit to a national interview since John McCain unexpectedly selected her as his running mate.

Since being chosen, questions have been raised about her experience and grasp of the issues, especially foreign affairs, as well as her 17-year-old daughter's pregnancy.

This Sunday, McCain and the Democratic ticket of Barack Obama and Joe Biden all appeared on political talk shows while Palin declined.

"She's a smart, tough politician," Biden said on NBC's Meet the Press. "Eventually, she's going to have to sit in front of you like I'm doing and have done. Eventually, she's going to have to answer questions and not be sequestered. Eventually, she's going to have to answer on the record."

On Friday, Oprah Winfrey announced she will not be interviewing Palin until after the election. What a surprise?

Sen. Barack Obama Acceptance Speech at DNC 2008

Does Obama have enough experience to be President of the United States? See the video below.

In recent weeks I have visited his website often to read about this ideas and policy, the dude is just like President Carter and thats just crazy. Dude want to increase my taxes, fuck that!

Sen. John McCain Congratulates Sen. Barack Obama on his Nomination, Well Done McCain

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Proving he is a class act yet again, Republican John McCain ran an ad on national television that congratulated Obama last week. Before Barack Obama gave his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, John McCain congratulated Obama for being the first black man to be nominated by one of the two major party. The much-hyped John McCain TV ad aired the night of Barack Obama's acceptance speech is unprecedented only in the sense that it congratulates Democratic rival Barack Obama instead of attacking him.

Presidential and very classy is how people have describe the advertisement featuring McCain.

In a brief break from a fierce advertising war, Republican presidential candidate John McCain aired a one-evening-only ad with a simple message for Barack Obama: "Job well done."

"Senator Obama, this is truly a good day for America," McCain says. "Too often the achievements of our opponents go unnoticed. So I wanted to stop and say, congratulations.

"How perfect that your nomination would come on this historic day," the presumptive Republican nominee says, referring to the 45th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" address in Washington. "Tomorrow, we'll be back at it. But tonight senator, job well done."

The 30-second spot, which was air on national cable TV before, during, and after Obama's acceptance speech tonight from Denver, is a marked departure from the withering series of ads McCain and Republicans have been running to question Obama's readiness to be president.

As McCain concedes, this won't last.

Both candidates have been running a series of ads criticizing each other, vastly outnumbering any positive ads about themselves. But this is the first positive ad of the election by one candidate about the other.
