Sheriff Won't Arrest Michael Phelps for Bong Pic

Great news for Michael Phelps today. Michael Phelps can once again venture into the state of South Carolina without the fear of arrest hanging over his head! A photo of Michael Phelps smoking a bong at a University of South Carolina party was leaked to News of the World at the beginning of the month. The local sheriffs department told the media that they were thinking about whether or not to charge Phelps.

Today, Sheriff Leon Lott finally reached the thrilling conclusion that no, they’re not going to charge Phelps. The decision may stem from public sentiment that Lott’s investigation was a waste of taxpayer’s money and the fact that the most they could throw at Phelps was a minor drug charge. No word on the eight others arrested in connection with the leaked photo. But at the behest of a sponsor, Michael Phelps has recorded a video apology to the people of China, expressing his remorse over the recently published pictures of him using a marijuana pipe and thanking them for their support and forgiveness. Michael Fred Phelps (born June 30, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland, United States) is an American swimmer. He is a 14-time Olympic gold medalist (the most by any Olympian) and he currently holds seven world records in swimming. Phelps holds the record for the most gold medals won at a single Olympics with the eight golds he won at the 2008 Olympic Games. Richland County Sheriffs made good on their promise of investigating the photo of Michael Phelps taking a bong hit. While Michael Phelps isn’t in any legal trouble himself at all, Richland County Sheriff’s have arrested seven people for drug possession and one person for distribution. But the party at University of South Carolina cost Michael Phelps $2,000 he lost playing beer pong. Which is why you never bet money on beer pong. Page Six reports:

"I saw Phelps pull out a roll, a bank-wrapped $2,000. He said, 'I'll match the $2,000,' " onlooker Michael Whitworth told the State newspaper. "Good ol' Phelpsie lost it, too."

Michael Phelps will most likely not face charges:

We've now learned that since investigators began trying to build a case, they've made eight arrests: seven for drug possession and one for distribution. These are arrests that resulted as the sheriff's department served search warrants.

We've also learned that the department has located and confiscated that bong. Sources say the owner of the bong was trying to sell it on eBay for as much as $100,000. The owner, who wasn't even at the party, is one of the eight now charged.
Governor Mark Sanford is also weighing in on the sheriff's actions. On the FOX News Channel Sunday night, Geraldo Rivera asked Sanford whether Phelps should be prosecuted.

"I don't see what it gets at this point," said Sanford. His spokesman told us Monday night Sanford is letting that quote stand.

Since Michael Phelps won all those gold medals at the Olympics he has become the King Midas of SHIT. Everything he touches not turn into shit. Michael Phelps Admits Smoking Weed Picture Was Indeed Him With a Bong At a Party

Great news, Michael Phelps not only love strippers but he also dig pot too. On Saturday, a report from News of the World published an alleged picture of Michael Phelps holding a bong and smoking weed ("marijuana") and immediately made waves across the internet. Admittedly, the picture wasn't perfect and there was no guarantee that it was Phelps in the photo. Today, The Drudge Report confirm the story and photo of Olympic "hero" Michael Phelps smoking marijuana while at a party in Columbia, South Carolina on November 6. According to a News of the World report:

As he basked in his hero status, Phelps knocked back beers and shots of spirits. And when a student offered him the glass bong engraved with red writing, he did not hesitate, says our source.
The 6ft 4ins athlete, in a white T-shirt and navy cap worn back to front, clasped the device in his huge hands and inhaled deeply.

Our source said: “You could tell Michael had smoked before. He grabbed the bong and a lighter and knew exactly what to do.

“He looked just as natural with a bong in his hands as he does swimming in the pool. He was the gold medal winner of bong hits. Michael ended up getting a little paranoid, though, because before too long he looked like he was nervous and ran out of the place.”

Since there is photographic evidence of Phelps smoking pot and because there were witnesses, Phelps needs to be arrested, tried, and sent to prison for a long, long time. Olympic 8 time gold medalist Michael Phelps photographed using a marijuana bong at the home of a friend. The photographic evidence made a denial impossible, which led to release of the following statement today by Michael Phelps:

"I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment. I'm 23 years old and despite the successes I've had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner people have come to expect from me. For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public it will not happen again."

Michael Phelps is an idiot, gossip blogs and tabloid magazines have been digging for shit on him for months and he just gave them the grand prize. He has apologized, but I think we all know that he’s not sorry he smoked pot, he’s sorry he got caught. As in, his sponsors might make him sorry he got caught when they stop paying him. Why would she even allow pictures to be taken, and naked no less? Some people are just too open with their use of drugs. God, I hope she is on some serious bulletproof contraceptive because you just know she is going to be having sex after she get her high on. I wonder what she is using, I want to say meth because she is white and seemingly a mid-west American type but it is probably crack cocaine. White people on the East and West Coast prefer regular cocaine, not crack. But that crystal meth shit is pure poison, probably worst than crack. However, the girl in these photos is in fact German (or some other Euro crackhead) but she would fit in perfectly in an American trailer park.
