Scott Brown Wins, Coakley Concedes And Obama Lose Sleep Over Upset

In an astonishing upset, not to mention a victory for Cosmo model with political aspirations, Republican Scott Brown has come from far behind to win today's special election in Massachusetts. He will be the 41st Republican in the U.S. Senate, meaning that Democrats can no longer break a united Republican filibuster. But long before he was a politician, the GOP candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won Cosmo's "America’s Sexiest Man" contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before posing for a photographer at Cosmo. A statement from Cosmopolitan magazine:
"Here at Cosmo we've had bachelors go on to be actors, models, and reality show stars, so we're thrilled that one has gone on to become a politician," says Kate White, Cosmo's editor in chief.

Yup, Obama has to worry about a dude who posed nude for Cosmo. The funny thing is Scott Brown is probably Obama's number one challenger in 2012. How the tides have turned in an year. Click on pictures to enlarge.

And there is his daughter Ayla Brown:

In winning, he became the first Republican to be elected to the U.S. Senate from Massachusetts since 1972. Pending his resignation, he remains the Republican Massachusetts State Senator representing the Norfolk, Bristol & Middlesex District since 2004. While initially trailing Attorney General Martha Coakley in polling by large numbers, Brown closed the gap in the first weeks of January 2010 before going on to win the election. blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Mark Sanford Took A Huge Steaming Shit On His Family, State, And His Career Today

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

First, wasn't he getting any at home? He has so many kids that couldn't be it. Anyway, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford admitted Wednesday to an extramarital affair, and resigned his position as chair of the Republican Governor's Association following a strange week in which the governor was M.I.A. for several days. Sanford's staff initially told reporters he had left town Thursday to go hiking on the Appalachian Trail, but the governor returned Wednesday morning on a flight from Argentina. Later in the day, Sanford's wife Jenny released a statement saying the couple had begun a trial separation two weeks ago. "I have been unfaithful to my wife. I developed a relationship with what started out as a dear, dear friend from Argentina," Mark Sanford said in a news conference at the state capital in Columbia.

He carried on a lively e-mail exchange with his lover in Buenos Aires, praising her "gentle kisses," her tan lines and the "curve of your hips," according to copies of the e-mails given to McClatchy's The State newspaper. The newspaper posted excerpts on its Web site, after removing the woman's full name and other personal details, including her street address, e-mail address and children's names. It said it was given the e-mails in December, but had been unable to confirm their authenticity until Wednesday.

Mark Sanford had everything a man could want in life including a beautiful family, respect and power but he pissed everything away within a single year. He gave everything up for hot sex with a hot babe in Argentina, for a year, and then he had to apologize to millions of people and Gods. And now, he doesn't even have his mistress because she turned against him months ago when she first sent their emails to a local South Carolina newspaper. See the leaked emails below.

I Hope That South American Pussy Was Worth It, Fucking Moron.

Here are the Mark Sanford emails that everyone is looking for today. The governor admitted to an affair with his girlfriend in Argentina named Maria earlier this morning. By afternoon email messages between Sanford and his lover were published in a local newspaper online called The State in South Carolina.

In the e-mails, Sanford recounted his schedule, including a meeting with Sen. John McCain, then the Republican nominee for president. In that e-mail, Sanford told his lover, who The State identified only as "Maria," that the visit had sparked discussion of Sanford as a possible vice presidential candidate.

He also hinted at the emotional struggle his sexual relationship with the woman was causing him.

"This is ground I have never certainly never covered before - so if you have pearls of wisdom on how we figure all this out please let me know," Sanford wrote. "In the meantime please sleep soundly knowing that despite the best efforts of my head my heart cries out for you, your voice, your body, the touch of your lips, the touch of your finger tips and an even deeper connection to your soul."

The relationship apparently also caused Maria conflicts.

"As I told you I shouldn't have done this trip but I would have felt worst if I wouldn't have come," she wrote. "He is a very nice guy, great heart ... but unfortunately I am not in love with him ... You are my love."

Sanford's office did not dispute the authenticity of the e-mails on Wednesday.

McClatchy special correspondent Angeles Mase visited the 14-story apartment building in Buenos Aires Wednesday where the woman lives, according to the emails, which included her address. The woman at the address answered to the name in the emails and, at first, agreed to speak to a visitor, but she declined after the visitor identified herself as a reporter.

The doorman at the building, shown a photograph of Sanford, said he did not recognize him. According to the doorman, the woman has two sons, one a teenager of driving age and the other younger. The emails refer to the woman's two sons.

Here are excerpts:

From Gov. Sanford, Date: Thursday, July 10, 2008, 12:24 a.m.

"One, tomorrow leave at 5 a.m. for New York and meetings. Will think about you on its streets and wish I was going to be there later in the month when you are there. Tomorrow night back to Philadelphia for the start of the National Governor's Conference through the weekend. Back to Columbia for Tuesday and then on Wednesday, as I think I had told you, taking the family to China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Thailand and then back through Hong Kong on world wind tour. Few days home then to Bahamas for 5 days on a friend’s boat for the last break of the summer. The following weekend have been asked to spend it out in Aspen, Colorado with McCain - which has kicked up the whole VP talk all over again in the press back home . . .

"Two, mutual feelings . . . You have a particular grace and calm that I adore. You have a level of sophistication that so fitting with your beauty. I could digress and say that you have the ability to give magnificent gentle kisses, or that I love your tan lines or that I love the curve of your hips, the erotic beauty of you holding yourself (or two magnificent parts of yourself) in the faded glow of the night’s light - but hey, that would be going into sexual details ...

"Three and finally, while all the things above are all too true - at the same time we are in a hopelessly - or as you put it impossible - or how about combine and simply say hopelessly impossible situation of love. How in the world this lightening strike snuck up on us I am still not quite sure. As I have said to you before I certainly had a special feeling about you from the first time we met, but these feelings were contained and I genuinely enjoyed our special friendship and the comparing of all too many personal notes ...

"Lastly I also suspect I feel a little vulnerable because this is ground I have never certainly never covered before - so if you have pearls of wisdom on how we figure all this out please let me know... In the meantime please sleep soundly knowing that despite the best efforts of my head my heart cries out for you, your voice, your body, the touch of your lips, the touch of your finger tips and an even deeper connection to your soul.”

--------------------

From Maria, Wednesday, July 9, 2008 8:14 p.m.

“As I told you I shouldn't have done this trip but I would have felt worst if I wouldn't have come because it was too over the date, he is a very nice guy, great heart ... but unfortunately I am not in love with him ... You are my love ... something hard to believe even for myself as it's also a kind of impossible love, not only because of distance but situation. Sometimes you don't choose things, they just happen... I can't redirect my feelings and I am very happy with mine towards you.”

--------------------

From Gov. Sanford, Tuesday, July 8, 1:42 a.m.

“Got back an hour ago to civilization and am now in Columbia after what was for me a glorious break from reality down at the farm. No phones ringing and tangible evidence of a day's labors. Though I have started every day by 6 this morning woke at 4:30, I guess since my body knew it was the last day, and I went out and ran the excavator with lights until the sun came up. To me, and I suspect no one else on earth, there is something wonderful about listening to country music playing in the cab, air conditioner running, the hum of a huge diesel engine in the back ground, the tranquillity that comes with being in a virtual wilderness of trees and marsh, the day breaking and vibrant pink coming alive in the morning clouds - and getting to build something with each scoop of dirt.”

The State said it would publish further excerpts from the e-mails in its print editions Thursday.

In 2002, he was elected the 115th Governor of South Carolina, where he had a contentious relationship with the South Carolina legislature.

Sanford was reelected Governor in 2006, where he campaigned against pork barrel spending. In office, notably, he rejected stimulus funds for his state from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 but later took it so that it would not be distributed to other states. Gov. Sarah Palin was at the Republican Governors Association convention in Miami. The paparazzi are stalking her, and got a few shots of her relaxing by the pool in shorts. Nice legs. Some people still can’t stop thinking about Sarah despite the fact that the election is over. These photos show Sarah Palin chilling by the pool at her Miami hotel yesterday, while she enjoys a drink and kicks back getting some work done. She was in town for the annual Republican Governors Association meeting where she was all business, but after hours, she's all sexy a gosh-darn don'tcha know. Not bad looking legs on the Governor, she better get use to candid photos of her making it on the web. From her hairstyle to her politics, America remains obsessed with the female politician who seemingly came out of nowhere. She should follow in Barack’s footsteps; write a book or two, and start a YouTube channel. Click on pictures to enlarge.

CNN's Kyra Phillips Calls Republican Contributor the C Word Twice

Source:
blogywoodbabes.blogspot.com

Did she just call her a “cunt” twice? The Commie News Network anchor discusses the battleground states with Leslie Sanchez and Roland Martin. Kyra Phillips, an average undereducated CNN anchor, called a female Republican contributor a cunt two times. I’m sure when Kyra first applied for her job, her ability to use her mouth to speak wasn’t a factor. There are better uses for a dirty mouth like her's in a job interview.

We all know the folks at the "most respected name in news" are mostly liberals but now this video just show us with the best Freudian slip ever. Kyra Phillips recently slipped when introducing CNN political contributor Leslie Sanchez. She did it, not once, but twice. Kyra Phillips had a Freudian slip and refers to a female Republican analyst by the “C” word…twice.

CNN's Kyra Phillips must of had another bad day. Remember when she was heard live on CNN going to the bathroom during President Bush's address to the nation on the anniversary of Katrina?

Was it a slip up or
do you think that Kyra Phillips was secretly letting the TV world know how she really feels about Leslie Sanchez, Republican Strategist and CNN Political Contributor or as Kyra calls her cunt-cunt-Contributor?

Back Story:

On August 29, 2006, during a CNN broadcast of President George W. Bush's speech on the first anniversary of Hurricane Katrina's landfall, Phillips' microphone was left on while she was in the bathroom. Portions of a personal conversation were broadcast live for over a minute and a half, during which Phillips offered advice on men, criticized her sister-in-law for being a "control freak," and praised her husband. The conversation audio was mixed with the President's audio feed and both were discernible. Daryn Kagan broke into Phillips' rant with an audio recap of Bush's speech. CNN immediately apologized for the on-air gaffe.

On January 30, 2008, Phillips joked about making a "reverse oreo" with black co-host Don Lemon and white female colleague Gerri Willis. Phillips used the term with sexual overtones (stating, "yeah, good time"), much to the "visual embarrassment" of Willis.

Kyra June Phillips (born August 8, 1968) is an American news anchor for CNN, where she has been reporting since October 1999. Phillips anchors the afternoon edition of CNN Newsroom.

Phillips grew up in San Diego and received her bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Southern California where she was a member of the Delta Gamma national women's fraternity. Among her first jobs in broadcasting were the positions of weekend anchor and reporter for WLUK-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin before moving on to WDSU-TV in New Orleans, Louisiana in 1994. Phillips has also held positions as morning anchor for KAMC-TV in Lubbock, Texas, field producer for CNN-Telemundo’s Washington, D.C. offices and a journalist of the special assignment unit of KCBS-TV in Los Angeles, California. In her spare time, Phillips participates in Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and has been doing so since 1992.

Phillips joined CNN in 1999. During her early years at CNN, Phillips was granted access to U.S. Navy airwing CVW-9 in 2001 as they prepared for the war in Afghanistan. In January 2002, Phillips spent about a month in Antarctica to work on a television documentary to be featured on the program CNN Presents. Later in 2002, Phillips produced reports focusing on the U.S. Navy’s reconnaissance missions from the USS Paul Hamilton during an air-to-air combat mission over the , the Navy’s Special Operations Command, the Navy SEALs, and Special Warfare Combatant Crewman training, riding in an F-14 TomcatPersian Gulf. She has also participated in the Navy’s TOPGUN school, SWAT training, and other police and weapons training.

Phillips was married to A. John Assad (presumably the husband she praised in her famous open-mic incident of August 2006). In April 2008, she stated she is not married, indicating a divorce sometime in between.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin Is McCain's Vice President Pick

Source:
GutterUncensored.com

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, a self-styled "hockey mom" who has only been governor for a little over two years, is GOP Presidential candidate John McCain's choice for Vice President. She is describe as a "solid-conservative" and likely to unite the Republican Party behind McCain. John McCain has tapped Washington outsider Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential running mate in the 2008 Presidential Election. At least there will be someone with some executive experience on one of the tickets this year. That being said, I hate all politicians period... lawyers too.

According to a Republican strategist, Palin is the nominee, though McCain's campaign has not comfirmed this.

Palin is a first-term governor credited with reforms in her out-of-the-way state.

Newly minted Democratic nominee Barack Obama is making an aggressive play for the traditional GOP stronghold and its three electoral votes, and polls show the race close.

At 44, Palin is younger than Obama and, like McCain, she calls herself a maverick.

A Gulfstream IV from Anchorage, Alaska, flew into Middletown Regional Airport in Butler County near Cincinnati about 10:15 p.m. Thursday, said Rich Bevis, airport manager.

He said several people came off the plane, including a woman and two teens, but there was no confirmation of who was aboard.

"They were pretty much hustled off. They came right down the ramp, jumped in some vans here and off they went," Bevis said. "It was all hush, hush."

Among the other possible running mates: former Pennsylvania Gov.Tom Ridge, Democrat-turned-independent Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut and former Rep. Rob Portman of Ohio.

The Arizona senator decided on his choice for vice president early Thursday, but the campaign has given no hint on the selection that will be announced on his 72nd birthday.

The speculation sent a buzz throughout Denver, where Obama accepted his party's nomination and put Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware on his ticket.

Jill Hazelbaker, McCain's communications director, gave nothing away during an interview on CBS' "The Early Show."

"John McCain is going to make the choice from his heart. He's going to choose someone who can be a partner in governing. He's going to choose someone who brings character and principle to the table and who shares his priorities. And I'm confident that he's going to make a great pick," Hazelbaker said.

With an announcement scheduled in Dayton, Ohio, an associate of Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty said the governor had been informed he is not McCain's pick. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak for Pawlenty, who had all but ruled himself out.

"I'm not going to be there. I plan to be at the state fair. You can draw your conclusion from that," Pawlenty said on his weekly call-in radio show on WCCO-AM in Minneapolis. He also called it "a fair assumption" that he will not be McCain's running mate.

Associates close to former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney were saying the same thing, telling The Associated Press that the former presidential candidate had not been offered the job by McCain.

Republicans kick off their national nominating convention next week in St. Paul, Minn., and McCain's campaign hopes the announcement of his running mate will stunt any momentum Obama might get from the just-concluded Democratic National Convention.

McCain was mum on the subject Thursday as he and his wife, Cindy, boarded a plane in Phoenix bound for Dayton.

Biography

--------------------------------------------

Sarah Heath Palin (born February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, Idaho, U.S.A) is the current Governor of Alaska, and a member of the Republican Party. She is the youngest and first female governor of Alaska. Brought to statewide attention because of her whistleblowing on ethical violations by state Republican Party leaders, she won election in 2006 by first defeating the incumbent governor in the Republican primary, then a former Democratic Alaskan governor in the general election.

Palin was born as Sarah Louise Heath in Sandpoint, Idaho, the daughter of Charles and Sally (Sheeran) Heath. Her family moved to Alaska when she was an infant. Charles Heath was a popular science teacher and coached track. The Heaths were avid outdoors enthusiasts; Sarah and her father would sometimes wake at 3 a.m. to hunt moose before school, and the family would regularly run 5k and 10k races.

Palin was the point guard and captain for the Wasilla High School Warriors, in Wasilla, Alaska, when they won the Alaska small-school basketball championship in 1982; she earned the nickname "Sarah Barracuda" because of her intense play. She played the championship game despite a stress fracture in her ankle, hitting a critical free throw in the last seconds. Palin, who was also the head of the school Fellowship of Christian Athletes, would lead the team in prayer before games.

In 1984, Palin was second-place in the Miss Alaska beauty pageant after winning the Miss Wasilla contest earlier that year, winning a scholarship to help pay her way through college. In the Wasilla pageant, she played the flute and also won Miss Congeniality.

Details of Palin's personal life have contributed to her political image. She hunts, eats moose burgers, ice fishes, rides snowmobiles, and owns a float plane. Palin holds a lifetime membership with the National Rifle Association. She admits that she used marijuana when it was legal in Alaska, but says that she did not like it.

Palin holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Idaho where she also minored in politics. She briefly worked as a sports reporter for local Anchorage television stations while also working as a commercial fisherman with her husband, Todd, her high school sweetheart. One summer when she was working on Todd's fishing boat, the boat collided with a tender while she was holding onto the railing; Palin broke several fingers. Outside the fishing season, Todd works for BP at an oil field on the North Slope and is a champion snowmobiler, winning the 2000-mile "Iron Dog" race four times. The two eloped shortly after Palin graduated college; when they learned they needed witnesses for the civil ceremony, they recruited two residents from the old-age home down the street. Todd is a Native Yup'ik Eskimo. The Palin family lives in Wasilla, about 40 miles (64 km) north of Anchorage.

On September 11, 2007, the Palins' son Track joined the Army. Eighteen years old at the time, he is the eldest of Palin's five children. Track now serves in an infantry brigade and will be deployed to Iraq in September. She also has three daughters: Bristol, 17, Willow, 13, and Piper, 7. On April 18, 2008, Palin gave birth to her second son, Trig Paxson Van Palin, who has Down syndrome. She returned to the office three days after giving birth. Palin refused to let the results of prenatal genetic testing change her decision to have the baby. "I'm looking at him right now, and I see perfection," Palin said. "Yeah, he has an extra chromosome. I keep thinking, in our world, what is normal and what is perfect?"
