Ashley Alexandra Dupre aka Kristen Posed Topless Before Eliot Spitzer Sex Scandal

Source: GutterUncensored.com

Kristen aka Ashley Rae Maika Youmans aka Ashley DiPietro aka Nina Venetta aka Ashley Alexandra Dupré, this nice girl is bad as hell.
Ashley Dupre is the 22-year-old high price call girl solicited by Eliot Spitzer through the "Emperors VIP Club." She posed in a Manhattan studio for a series of photos, on display here. Click on pictures to enlarge.

The high-priced hooker at the center of Gov. Spitzer's sex scandal trysted with him several times before he was caught on a wiretap - but it was only during their last encounter that she realized the real identity of her john, sources said yesterday.

Dupre had several dates with Spitzer before she realized he was the governor of New York. He used the alias "George Fox," the name of his best friend.

"Oh, my God! Do you know who this guy is?" a shocked Ashley Alexandra Dupre asked her bosses at the Emperors Club VIP escort service, a source said.

The comment came after her $4,300 meeting with Spitzer at a Washington hotel on Feb. 13.

But just before Dupre - whom Spitzer knew as "Kristen" - had her startling revelation, federal authorities caught the governor on tape giving them enough evidence to take down the sex ring, paving the way for his embarrassing resignation.

Dupre is an aspiring musician whose Myspace page, which features her track, recorded 5 million page views.

Dupre is covered with several tattoos in Latin and Arabic, which are said to be mantras to help her stay clean. The NJ native has a history of drug use.

Dupre lives in a studio apartment in a Flatiron high-rise and is known to frequent hot spots like Viscaya, Pink Elephant and Retox. She's hobnobbed with hip-hoppers like P. Diddy.

Dupre moved to New York in 2004 to pursue her music career. She worked as a cocktail waitress, bartender and hostess before turning to prostitution.

Sources say Dupre got involved with the Emperors Club as early as 2006 after responding to an ad from the agency seeking girls to "party" with deep-pocketed men.

After meeting with her, the escort service's operators liked what they saw. She took to the job quickly.

"She's definitely a party girl," one well-connected club source told The Post. "She was out four, five nights a week and was a staple."

She vacationed in St. Tropez and carried luxury items from Cartier and Louis Vuitton. "Nobody knew she was a prostitute," the source said.

Dupre grew up in Seaside Heights, NJ, and Wall Township down the Jersey shore.

The Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal broke on March 10, 2008, when The New York Times reported that New York Governor service called Eliot Spitzer had patronized a high price prostitution Emperors Club VIP. This ultimately led to his announcement of resignation as governor on March 12, to be effective March 17.

Spitzer, referred to as "Client–9" in an affidavit filed in US Federal Court, arranged to meet with a prostitute named "Kristen" — an "American, petite, very pretty brunette, 5 feet 5 inches and 105 pounds" (165 cm, 47 kg). "Kristen" was later identified as 32 year old Ashley Alexandra Dupré (born Ashley Rae Maika Youmans — and later, through adoption, surnamed DiPietro) It was initially reported that she was 22 years old. She intended to travel from New York City for the planned tryst and Spitzer agreed in advance that he "would be paying for everything—train tickets, cab fare from the hotel and back, mini-bar or room service, travel time and hotel". After the assignation on February 13, 2008, Spitzer paid her $4,300 in cash.

The payment included $1,100 as a deposit with the agency toward future services. Reportedly, this information came to light from a federal wiretap. "Kristen" revealed March 13, 2008 she had gone without sleep since the scandal broke and said she did not want to be thought of as a monster. Spitzer had at least seven or eight liaisons with prostitutes from the agency over six months, and paid more than $15,000 for their services. According to published reports, investigators believe Spitzer paid up to $80,000 for prostitutes over a period of several years while he was Attorney General, and later as Governor.

The investigation was initiated after North Fork Bank reported suspicious transactions to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as required by the Bank Secrecy Act. According to Newsday, Spitzer wanted to transfer more than $10,000 to what turned out to be a front for the prostitution ring. However, he broke up the transactions into smaller slices due to federal law requiring the reporting of any transfer of $10,000 or more. When he tried to get his name taken off the wires, the bank refused, saying that the money had already been wired out and that it would be improper to do so in any case. The IRS' Criminal Investigation Division then started a probe, initially fearing that Spitzer was the victim of either extortion or identity theft.

Later the IRS contacted the FBI to investigate possible political corruption. This eventually led Federal investigators to link the money transfers to the company that provided all the prostitutes. Federal prosecutors charged the four people operating the escort service with violations of the Mann Act the week prior to the announcement of Spitzer's involvement.

Spitzer announced on March 12 that he would resign his post as Governor effective March 17, amid threats of his impeachment by state lawmakers. Also on March 12 FBI agents determined Spitzer used a high-priced call-girl ring at least eight times in recent months, and agents had him under surveillance twice in the year 2008.

"I cannot allow for my private failings to disrupt the peoples' work," Spitzer said at a news conference in New York City. "Over the course of my public life, I have insisted—I believe correctly—that people take responsibility for their conduct. I can and will ask no less of myself. For this reason, I am resigning from the office of governor."

Ashley Alexandra Dupré aka Kristen is a beautiful and super hot 22 year old sex worker in NYC. She is the prostitute the FBI has link with the New York Governor on Fed. 13, 2008 in D.C. Damn this what $5,000 per hour get you in New York with a high price escort service. Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned from office Wednesday after being accused of frequenting a high-price call girl ring. Click on pictures to enlarge.

She left a broken home on the Jersey Shore at 17 and came to New York City to work the nightclubs as a rhythm and blues singer. Now, at 22, she is the unwitting, and as yet unseen, star of the seamy drama that is the downfall of Gov. Eliot Spitzer of New York.

Kristen, the high-priced prostitute described in a federal affidavit as having had a rendezvous with Mr. Spitzer on Feb. 13 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, has spent the last few days in her ninth-floor apartment in the Flatiron district of Manhattan. On Monday, she made a brief appearance in federal court, where a lawyer was appointed to represent her. She is expected to be a witness in the case against four people charged with operating a prostitution ring called the Emperor’s Club V.I.P.

In a series of telephone interviews on Tuesday night, she said she had slept very little over the past week, with all the stress of the case.

“I just don’t want to be thought of as a monster,” the woman said as she told the tiniest tidbits of her story.

Born Ashley Youmans but now known as Ashley Alexandra Dupré, she spoke softly and with good humor as she added with significant understatement: “This has been a very difficult time. It is complicated.”

She has not been charged. The lawyer appointed to represent her, Don D. Buchwald, told a magistrate judge in court on Monday that she had been subpoenaed to testify in a grand jury investigation. Asked to swear that she had accurately filled out and signed a financial affidavit, she responded affirmatively.

A person with knowledge of the Emperor’s Club operation confirmed that the woman interviewed by The New York Times was the woman identified as Kristen in the affidavit. Mr. Buchwald confirmed various details of Ms. Dupré’s background but would not discuss the contents of the affidavit.

Ms. Dupré said by telephone Tuesday night that she was worried about how she would pay her rent since the man she was living with “walked out on me” after she discovered he had fathered two children. She said she was considering working at a friend’s restaurant or, once her apartment lease expires, moving back with her family in New Jersey “to relax.”

She did not say when she had started working for the Emperor’s Club, or how often she had liaisons arranged through the ring. Asked when she met Governor Spitzer and how many times they had seen each other, Ms. Dupre said she had no comment.

On her MySpace page, Ms. Dupré writes of her “odyssey to New York from New Jersey through North Carolina, Miami, D.C., Virginia and Austin, Texas;” public records show that she lived in Belmar, N.J., in 2001, and in North Carolina in 2003. She owns a company, created in 2005, called Pasche New York, which her lawyer said was an entertainment business designed to further her singing career.

Music is her first love, and on the MySpace page, Ms. Dupré mentions Patsy Cline, Frank Sinatra, Christina Aguilera and Lauryn Hill among a long list of influences, including her brother, Kyle. (She also lists Whitney Houston, Madonna, Mary J. Blige and Amy Winehouse as her top MySpace friends.) In the interview, she said she saw the Rolling Stones perform at Radio City Music Hall on their last tour after a friend gave her two of tickets. “They were amazing,” she said.

On MySpace, her page says: “I am all about my music and my music is all about me. It flows from what I’ve been through, what I’ve seen and how I feel.”

She left “a broken family” at age 17, having been abused, according to the MySpace page, and has used drugs and “been broke and homeless.”

“Learned what it was like to have everything and lose it, again and again,” she writes. “Learned what it was like to wake up one day and have the people you care about most gone.

“But I made it,” she continues. “I’m still here and I love who I am. If I never went through the hard times, I would not be able to appreciate the good ones. Cliché, yes, but I know it’s true.”

Ms. Dupré’s mother, Carolyn Capalbo, 46, said her daughter attended Wall High School in Monmouth County until her sophomore year, when she moved to North Carolina. “She was a young kid with typical teenage rebellion issues, but we are extremely close now,” Ms. Capalbo said in a telephone interview Wednesday.

In 2006, Ms. Dupré changed her legal name, according to records in Monmouth County Superior Court, from Ashley R. Youmans to Ashley Rae Maika DiPietro, taking her stepfather’s surname since she regarded him as “the only father I have known.” But in the interview, she referred to herself as Ashley Alexandra Dupré, which is how she is known on MySpace.

On the Web page is a recording of what she describes as her latest track, “What We Want,” a hip-hop-inflected rhythm-and-blues tune that asks, “Can you handle me, boy?” and uses some dated slang, calling someone her “boo.”

“I know what you want, you got what I want,” she sings in the chorus. “I know what you need. Can you handle me?”

Her MySpace biography says she started singing professionally after a musician she was living with heard her singing the Aretha Franklin hit “Respect” in the shower and burst into the bathroom with his lead guitarist. She says she toured and recorded with them, then moved to Manhattan in 2004 and “spent the first two years getting to know the music scene, networking in clubs and connecting with the industry.

"Now it’s all about my music, it’s all about expressing me."

This is what she wrote in the about me section her Myspace page:

"About Ashley Alexandra Dupré

I am all about my music, and my music is all about me… It flows from what I’ve been through, what I’ve seen and how I feel. I live in New York and am on top of the world. Been here since 2004 and I love this city, I love my life here. But, my path has not been easy. When I was 17, I left home. It was my decision and I’ve never looked back. Left my hometown. Left a broken family. Left abuse. Left an older brother who had already split. Left and learned what it was like to have everything, and lose it, again and again. Learned what it was like to wake up one day and have the people you care about most gone. I have been alone. I have abused drugs. I have been broke and homeless. But, I survived, on my own. I am here, in NY because of my music. It started when I moved in with a musician during my odyssey to New York. One day, I was in the shower singing “respect.” He and his lead guitarist burst in, had me repeat it and it started. We wrote, rehearsed and toured. After recording a bit with them, I decided to move to Manhattan to pursue my music career. I spent the first two years getting to know the music scene, networking in clubs and connecting with the industry. Now, it’s all about my music. It’s all about expressing me. I can sit here now, and knowingly tell you that life’s hard sometimes. But, I made it. I’m still here and I love who I am. If I never went through the hard times, I would not be able to appreciate the good ones. Cliché, yes, but I know it’s true. I have experienced just how hard it can be. I can honestly tell you to never dwell on the past, but build from it and keep moving forward. Don’t let anyone hold you back or tell you that you can’t…because you can. I didn’t and here I am, just listen to it…. What we Want is my latest track. It’s really about trust, something my past has made very difficult for me to feel. This one was inspired by a guy, who taught me not to confuse my dreams with the sounds of the city…I hope you like it. "

Emperor’s Club VIP Profife.

In the affidavit, the woman the Emperor’s Club called Kristen is described as “an American, petite, very pretty brunette, 5 feet 5 inches, and 105 pounds.” She apparently was booked at about $1,000 an hour, placing her in the middle of the seven-diamond scale by which Emperor’s prostitutes were paid up to $4,300 an hour.

Ms. Capalbo said that she was “shell-shocked” when her daughter called in the middle of last week and told her she had been working as an escort and was now in trouble with the law. She said she was not sure that Ms. Dupré realized who Mr. Spitzer was when he was her client.

“She is a very bright girl who can handle someone like the governor,” Ms. Capalbo said. “But she also is a 22-year-old, not a 32-year-old or a 42-year-old, and she obviously got involved in something much larger than her.”

Gov. Eliot Spitzer, whose rise to political power as a fierce enforcer of ethics in public life was undone by revelations of his own involvement with prostitutes, resigned on Wednesday, becoming the first New York governor to leave office amid scandal in nearly a century.

The resignation will be effective on Monday, and Lt. Gov. David A. Paterson will be sworn in to replace him.

In an appearance that lasted 140 seconds at his Midtown Manhattan office, the governor — with his wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, at his side — offered an apology to his family and to the public and said he would devote himself to serving “the common good.”

“From those to whom much is given, much is expected,” Mr. Spitzer said. “I have been given much: the love of my family, the faith and trust of the people of New York and the chance to lead this state. I am deeply sorry that I did not live up to what was expected of me.”

“Over the course of my public life, I have insisted — I believe correctly — that people regardless of their position or power take responsibility for their conduct,” he said. “I can and will ask no less of myself. For this reason, I am resigning from the office of governor.”

Mr. Spitzer, 48, spoke in a somber but steady voice, his usual barking tone softened by contrition. He took no questions. His wife, in a dark suit and brightly colored scarf, looked off to the side of the podium, occasionally glancing up to reveal deep circles beneath her eyes.

Immediately after the remarks, Mr. Paterson offered sympathy to the governor and his family in a written statement. “It is now time for Albany to get back to work as the people of this state expect from us,” he said.

The sudden and stunning end to Mr. Spitzer’s political career came less than 48 hours after it emerged that he had been a client of a high-end prostitution ring, caught on a federal wiretap that had been prompted by his own efforts to quietly make payments to the agency, Emperors Club VIP.

Mr. Spitzer issued a brief apology on Monday after the news was first reported on the Web site of The New York Times, then he disappeared from public view. The governor, an unabashed fan of the spotlight, spent Tuesday in seclusion in his Fifth Avenue apartment overlooking Central Park, engaged in what associates described as an agonizing day of deliberations with his wife, lawyers, and a handful of close friends.

It remained unclear on Wednesday what legal implications, if any, Mr. Spitzer will face from his involvement with the ring. His lawyer, Michele Hirschman, reached out to federal prosecutors this week to strike a deal in hopes of avoiding charges. But the United States attorney investigating the case issued a statement shortly after the resignation saying that his office does not have any arrangement with the governor.

In Albany, where state government has stood still since the scandal broke, lawmakers sent words of support to Mr. Paterson and offered a few final requiems for the departing governor.

Joseph L. Bruno, the Republican leader of the state Senate who once labeled Mr. Spitzer “a spoiled brat,” shunned the fiery rhetoric he often used to refer to his chief political foe.

“I’m going to leave it to the governor and his family to sort out how they deal with present circumstances and the future,” Mr. Bruno said at an unusually restrained morning news conference. “And frankly, I have them in my prayers.”

In the State Assembly, which convened just after 1 p.m., a chaplain read from Psalm 51, a Bible passage in which King David, after committing adultery with Bathsheba, the wife of a friend, pleads with God to “cleanse me from my sin.”

The chaplain then added: “Bring healing to the Spitzer family.”

Fallout from Mr. Spitzer’s resignation also reached the presidential campaign. Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton will lose the governor’s support as a Democratic superdelegate, a post he must now relinquish. “I’m deeply saddened by this turn of events and my thoughts are with Governor Spitzer’s family during this painful time,” Mrs. Clinton said in a statement released by her campaign.

Mr. Spitzer becomes the first New York governor to resign from office since 1973, when Nelson A. Rockefeller stepped down to devote himself to a policy group, and the first to be forced out since William Sulzer was impeached in 1913 over a campaign contribution fraud.

Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigned as New York Governor Over Prostitution Sex Scandal

Source: GutterUncensored.com
New York Governor Eliot Spitzer resigned from office Wednesday, succumbing to threats of impeachment and mounting media pressure over his involvement with a high-end prostitution ring. Gov. Eliot Spitzer, the nationally known do-gooder who suffered a jaw-dropping fall from grace this week after being accused of frequenting a high-price call girl ring.

Speaking to reporters in New York, where he had been holed up with his advisors since the career-ending sex scandal broke Monday, Spitzer said he had failed to live up to the standards expected of public officials.

"Over the course of my public life I have insisted, I believe correctly, that people, regardless of their position or power, take responsibility for their conduct," Spitzer told reporters, flanked by his wife.

"I can and will ask no less of myself. For his reason I am resigning from the office of governor," the ashen-faced governor said, adding: "I cannot allow my private failings to disrupt the people's work."

"The remorse I feel will always be with me," he added.

Spitzer, 48, the one-time "Sheriff of Wall Street," would on Monday formally hand over to Lieutenant Governor David Paterson, who would become the state's first black governor and the first blind governor in US history.

Lt. Gov. David Paterson, 53, will take his place effective Monday, becoming New York's first African-American governor and the nation's first who is legally blind. Paterson released his own statement following the announcement.

"Like all New Yorkers, I am saddened by what we have learned over the past several days," he said. "On a personal level, Governor Spitzer and Silda have been close and steadfast friends. As an elected official the governor has worked hard for the people of New York. My heart goes out to him and to his family at this difficult and painful time. I ask all New Yorkers to join Michelle and me in prayer for them."

Paterson, considered more liberal and accommodating than his pugnacious former boss, immediately sought to draw a line under Spitzer's term, which has been marked by deadlock since he took over last year.

"It is now time for (state capital) Albany to get back to work as the people of this state expect from us," the governor-in-waiting said.

Wednesday's resignation marked a dramatic fall from grace for Spitzer, a Hillary Clinton ally once considered presidential material and known as "Mr Clean" for taking down organized crime and tackling Wall Street corruption.

Republicans in the state assembly had on Tuesday given Spitzer 48 hours to quit or face impeachment, while New York newspapers had also called for the governor to do the right thing and stand down.

Spitzer could still face federal criminal charges and New York prosecutors pointedly denied they had made a deal with Spitzer, amid earlier reports he had agreed to quit in return for avoiding charges such as money laundering.

His resignation came as further details emerged of his use of prostitutes, with the New York Post saying he had spent up to 80,000 dollars on call girls going back 10 years to his time as New York state attorney general.

Spitzer, a father of three, initially indicated on Monday that he did not intend to step down, labeling the scandal "a private matter."

Appearing alongside his wife of more than 20 years, Spitzer apologized for his behavior but did not make any specific admissions.

But by Tuesday, talks were already reportedly going ahead in the state capital Albany to ensure a smooth transition to Paterson.

Spitzer was allegedly caught on a federal wiretap last month arranging to meet a prostitute at a hotel in Washington, where he was due to address the US congress the following day.

But reports suggested investigators first started probing Spitzer's affairs when his bank reported him to tax authorities over suspicious transfers from which he had asked the bank to remove his name.

He was believed to have used an exclusive ring known as the "Emperor's Club VIP," which was broken up by New York authorities last week.

According to reports, Spitzer was the "Client 9" named in a criminal complaint filed by prosecutors last week.

The complaint suggested Client 9 had used the prostitution ring's services before and detailed how he arranged to have a prostitute named Kristen brought from New York to Washington.

According to the complaint, the client paid her 4,300 dollars and left after around two hours.

Spitzer still faces the threat of criminal charges. "There is no agreement between this office and Governor Eliot Spitzer relating to his resignation or any other matter," Michael Garcia, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, said Wednesday.

White House press secretary Dana Perino responded to Spitzer's resignation by repeating that President Bush views it as a "sad situation."

"He has Gov. Spitzer and Gov. Spitzer's family in his thoughts and prayers," Perino said. "And he looks forward to working with Lt. Gov. Paterson when he takes over the post on Monday."

Asked if Bush planned to call Spitzer, Perino said: "I certainly think that's possible."

Spitzer's resignation came after only 14 months in office and less than 48 hours since news broke that a federal complaint detailing the actions of a "Client 9" referred to the former prosecutor once known as "Mr. Clean."

Eliot Spitzer Spent Tens of Thousands on High-Priced Prostitutes

With pressure mounting on Gov. Eliot Spitzer to resign over a call-girl scandal, investigators said Tuesday he was clearly a repeat customer who spent tens of thousands of dollars — perhaps as much as $90,000 — with the high-priced prostitution service over an extended period of time.

Spitzer and his family, meanwhile, remained secluded in their Fifth Avenue apartment, while Republicans began talking impeachment, and few if any fellow Democrats came forward to defend him. A death watch of sorts began at the state Capitol, where whispers of "What have you heard?" echoed through nearly every hallway of the ornate, 109-year-old building.

On Monday, when the scandal broke, prosecutors said in court papers that Spitzer had been caught on a wiretap spending $4,300 with the Emperors Club VIP call-girl service, with some of the money going toward a night with a prostitute named Kristen, and the rest to be used as credit toward future trysts. The papers also suggested that Spitzer had done this before.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, a law enforcement official said Tuesday that Spitzer, in fact, had spent tens of thousands of dollars with the Emperors Club. Another official said the amount could be as high as $90,000. But it was not clear over what period of time that was spent.

Still another law enforcement official said investigators found that during the tryst with Kristen on the night before Valentine's Day, Spitzer used two rooms at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington — one for himself, the other for the prostitute. Sometime around 10 p.m., Spitzer sneaked away from his security detail and made his way to the room where she was waiting, the official said.

In the court papers, an Emperors Club employee was quoted as telling Kristen that Client 9 — Spitzer, according to investigators — "would ask you to do things that ... you might not think were safe," and Kristen responded by saying: "I have a way of dealing with that. ... I'd be, like, listen, dude, you really want the sex?"

A law enforcement official said Tuesdsay the discussion had to do with Spitzer's preference not to wear a condom and the call-girl's insistence that he use one.

Meanwhile, Albany insiders on Tuesday said the governor was still trying to decide how to proceed. Options included quitting immediately, or waiting to use resignation as a bargaining chip with federal prosecutors to avoid indictment.

Democrats privately floated another option, telling The Associated Press that Spitzer was considering what was almost unthinkable immediately after Monday's bombshell apology: hanging on.

"If the public is fine, he'll stay," said a Democrat who spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the subject.

Still, Spitzer's many enemies from Albany and Wall Street were emboldened, and some of his friends went from shock to outrage.

"Particularly because of the reform platform on which he was elected governor, his ability to govern the state of New York and execute his duties as governor have been irreparably damaged," said Citizens Union, a good-government group that supported the crusading attorney general for governor in 2006 and provided critical support in his effort to reform Albany. "It is our strong belief that it is now impossible for him to fulfill his responsibilities as governor. Accordingly, Citizens Union urges him to resign as governor."

The case against Spitzer, a 48-year-old married man with three teenage daughters, started when banks noticed frequent cash transfers from several accounts and filed suspicious-activity reports with the Internal Revenue Service, a law enforcement official told the AP. The accounts were traced back to Spitzer, prompting public corruption investigators to open an inquiry.

The governor has not been charged, and prosecutors would not comment on the case. Michele Hirshman, Spitzer's former deputy attorney general and now a member of the high-powered New York law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind Wharton & Garrison, has been retained to represent the governor.

In Albany, Democratic Lt. Gov. David Paterson, who would become governor if Spitzer resigned, was talking to legislative leaders about a possible transition.

Reporters, government workers and the public milled around the state Capitol on Tuesday, waiting for any developments. News vans lined up around the building, and camera operators sat next to their tripods on the front lawn waiting for something to happen.

Assembly Republican leader James Tedisco warned that if Spitzer did not resign within 48 hours, he would call for impeachment. But any impeachment would face a difficult road in the Democrat-controlled Assembly, where articles impeachment would require a majority vote to go to a trial. A trial would be decided by a combined vote of the full Senate, which has a slim GOP majority, and the Court of Appeals.

Tedisco was an early target of Spitzer's abrasive and uncompromising style in Albany. In a private call, an angry Spitzer once described himself to Tedisco as a "steamroller" — he attached a profanity for emphasis — and warned: "I'll roll over you and anybody else."

Privately, several Democrats in the Legislature and in the administration said resignation appeared inevitable. "He's weighing the rest of his life," one Democratic official said sadly.

Late Tuesday, freshman Rep. Kirsten Gillibrand became the first Democratic member of New York's congressional delegation to mention resignation. "This is very grave and sad news," she said. "If these serious allegations are true, the governor will have no choice but to resign."

But more than a day after the scandal broke, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and other senior Democrats in the delegation had yet to call on Spitzer to quit.

On Wall Street, where Spitzer built his reputation as a crusader against shady practices and overly generous compensation, cheers and laughter erupted Monday from the trading floor when news broke of his potential ruin.

Many in the financial industry had long complained that the man known as "Mr. Clean" and the "Sheriff of Wall Street" was a sanctimonious bully who was just trying to advance his political career. Many Wall Streeters were delighted to see him get his comeuppance.

"The irony and the hypocrisy is almost too good to be true," said Bryn Dolan, a fundraiser who works with many Wall Street employees. "If he had any shame, he would've already resigned."

Emperor's Club VIP Prostitution Ring Linked with Eliot Spitzer

Emperor's Club VIP is an international call girl ring that solicited wealthy male clients via a web site that rated its hookers on a scale of diamonds (and charged accordingly) has been busted by federal agents. The operators of the New York-based Emperors Club were named in a felony complaint unsealed today in U.S. District Court in Manhattan.

A photo screenshot of the website, which has been taken down, can be found here, here and here. The cache is here and here. Federal authorities arrested four people Thursday on charges of running an online prostitution ring that serviced clients in New York, Paris and other cities and took in more than $1 million in profits over four years.

The ring, known as the Emperor's Club V.I.P., had 50 prostitutes available for appointments in New York, Washington, Miami, London and Paris, according to a complaint unsealed on Thursday in Federal District Court in Manhattan. The appointments, made by telephone or through an online booking service, cost $1,000 to $5,500 [scroll down for fee page] an hour and could be paid for with cash, credit card, wire transfers or money orders, the complaint said.

Eliot Spitzer, the Governor of New York, has revealed his involvement with The Emperor's Club VIP, a prostitution ring recently shut down.

Several phone numbers associated with Emperors Club have been under surveillance by the FBI, which intercepted more than 5,000 telephone calls and text messages during the investigation, according to court documents.

According to reports, Eliot Spitzer was client number nine (9).

It's interesting to point out that a look-a-like to Hollywood celebrity Paris Hilton may have once worked for the Emperor's Club VIP, although she denies it, and it was revealed that girls worked for the starting price of $800 per hour.

The look-a-like, Natalie Reid, denies she worked as an escort for Emperors' Club VIP, where prices start at $800 an hour. The agency's Web site had listed a Canadian woman named "Melissa" with "amazing physical beauty, high intelligence and the purity of youth," plus a photo of a Reid look-alike. The woman who answered the phone at Emperors' told PAGE SIX: "I can't help you reach her because she no longer works here. She moved on." A photo of Natalie Reid can be found here.

Back to the issue at-hand, according to Wikipedia, Eliot Laurence Spitzer (born June 10, 1959) is an American lawyer, politician and the current Governor of New York. Spitzer was elected governor in the November 2006 election. He is the former New York State Attorney General, a member of the Democratic Party, and is married to Silda Wall Spitzer, the founder and chair of Children for Children, a non-profit organization.

The NY Times is reporting that Eliot Spitzer abruptly canceled his scheduled public events for the day on March 10. He scheduled an announcement for 2:15 after inquiries from the Times.

Spitzer is now being linked to a recent arrest of four people in connection with an expensive prostitution ring.

The Emperor's Club is the name of the prositution ring Spitzer may be linked to and according to breaking reports, cell phone records may have been what tied him to the ring.

Spitzer is expected to resign and has been mentioned on a federal criminal complaint as client number nine. His name is not mentioned on the document. He is alleged to have used the services of the 'club' and is reportedly referred to as 'client number 9'.

According to the office of the United States attorney in Manhattan, Mark Brener, 62, of New Jersey, was the leader of the ring, but delegated day-to-day business responsibilities to Cecil Suwal, 23, also of New Jersey. The office said that Ms. Suwal controlled the bank accounts, took applications from prospective prostitutes and oversaw two booking agents, identified by the authorities as Temeka Rachelle Lewis, 32, of Brooklyn, and Tanya Hollander, 36, of Rhinebeck, N.Y. …

The ring's Web site showed pictures of the prostitutes, cropped so faces were not visible, and listed names like Sienna and Christine. The Web site, which was disabled shortly after the arrests were announced, ranked the prostitutes on a scale of one to seven "diamonds." A three-diamond woman, for example, could command a fee of $1,000 per hour. A seven-diamond woman cost more than $3,000 an hour.

For its most valued clients, the Emperor's Club offered membership in the elite "Icon Club," with hourly fees starting at $5,500, according to the federal complaint. The club also offered clients the opportunity to purchase direct access to a prostitute without having to contact the agency.

Spitzer has NOT been indicted.

According to reports, the Governor took the podium for just seconds, apologizing to his family.

Excerpts of those intercepted calls, provided in court documents, offer a window onto some of the managerial challenges that confronted the four defendants who allegedly managed the operation. In them, the managers discuss how some of the Emperor Club prostitutes had difficulty taking imprints of their clients' American Express cards, making it difficult to charge them. Prostitutes weren't always punctual in arriving at their engagements. There were scheduling conflicts to resolve caused by the photo shoots of the women who modeled during the day. And clients called in wanting to know what they should tell their accountants about the expenses they were racking up with the Emperors Club.

Choosing from only the most impressive model companion candidates, you'll personally find that Emperors Club is, by far, the most selective social introduction service. Beauty, elegance, erudition, and educational standing / career accomplishments are preliminary decisive factors in hiring. Each model’s character, personality, ability to create desirable atmosphere, interests, family background and career success must be deemed suitable. Initial rates have been established based on the above criteria. With time, promotion, if any, to higher category (ies) is considered and based upon our expanded knowledge of the model’s character and the grace with which she handles public relations / interactions. The images he chooses are generally iconic and stereotypical, representing a mythical or imaginary America. Prince has commented, "I’m interested in what some of these images imagine... most of the time, what’s represented is just wishful thinking. I’m interested in wishful thinking."
