Amy Winehouse has apparently proved she is not amongst the regular lot of women after opening a door for a stranger topless. Back from her lengthy stay on the island of St. Lucia, it seems Amy Winehouse is having a hard time shaking her beach mentality. She returned to London from a two-month break in the Caribbean to battle her drug addiction. She was spotted wandering around her London home in only a pair of bikini bottoms last Monday. The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress was apparently trying to recapture her Caribbean carefree lifestyle, as she had a tanning bed delivered to her house a little while later that day. The delivery person got an eye full as Wino open the door, she seem to have forgotten her mind and top in St. Lucia. But according to a pal, Amy is happy to be back in Mother England. "As she said when she got back, ‘I love London more than anyone else.’ She missed London. She’s fine."
By the way, Amy Winehouse has just been charged with assault. A dancer says that Wino hit her in the eye after she asked Amy to take a picture. The alleged incident went down at the End of Summer Ball in London on September 26, 2008.
On Thursday, “Amy voluntarily attended a police station in London,” where she was formally arrested and charged, her spokesman confirms. “She was questioned by appointment in relation to an accusation made after the Berkeley ball last year.”
Winehouse was released Friday and is due back in court March 17.
And now that she’s back home, Winehouse will also have to deal with a potentially messy divorce with her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was recently released from prison.
