He is not on "Idol" anymore. But Adam Lambert, last season's runner up on AI, performed a raunchy performance at the American Music Awards Sunday night, interrupted by a quick tumble on stage. If you thought when Adam Lambert first started his performance at the AMAs, they were trying to downplay his gayness again by having him drag a woman around like a caveman. You would have been proven totally wrong by the simulated oral sex act he did with another man. The ABC producers must have all had a simultaneous heart attack when that happened on live TV. Yeah, you just know it's going to be a crappy day when the top story of the day is Adam Lambert simulating a blowjob with a dude on TV the night before. Paula Abdul Announces She's Leaving American Idol On Twitter

Paula Abdul announced on her Twitter late yesterday that she will not be returning for the 9th season of American Idol. Paula wanted about $20 million to stay with American Idol. Unable to come to terms Paula rejected a 30% raise offer which would have resulted in an eight-figure multi-year deal. She wanted an increase in her pay from about $10-12 million to a cool $20 million but that was a no go. After weeks of speculation, Paula Abdul finally made the announcement of her departure from the best thing ever happened to her. I wonder where she is going to go to make $15 million next year. In the column of biggest life mistakes, she posted on her Twitter:

With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all . . . I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon . . . What I want to say most, is how much I appreciate the undying support and enormous love that you have showered upon me . . . It truly has been breathtaking, especially over the past month . . . I do without any doubt have the BEST fans in the entire world and I love you all.

Fox released a statement which confirmed Paula's departure:

"Paula Abdul has been an important part of the American Idol family over the last eight seasons and we are saddened that she has decided not to return to the show. While Paula will not be continuing with us, she's a tremendous talent and we wish her the best."

She told E! that she already has a new job lined up. I hope the folks and her new employer will be like Fox and and American Idol ignore her drug abuse. Lambert was photographed yesterday leaving Guys & Dolls in West Hollywood holding hands with "male friend" Drake LaBry. This is not surprising or shocking or anything like that, what is surprising is the fact tat people insist he is not gay. As if it wasn’t blatantly obvious to everyone with a brian already and just before Adam Lambert is due to come out in the next issue of the Rolling Stone, Adam seems to be outing himself with his boyfriend in Hollywood over the last few days.

Adam Lambert, one of the top 12 on American Idol, might be totally gay. Not just gay gay but like super gay. If you wanted some sort of proof, Vote for the Worst posted a few photos of Lambert at Burning Man sticking his tongue down the throat of another man and dressing like a New York City transsexual teacher. But he seem to have removed pictures from his Myspace page when he made the show, obviously to hide his preference from the teen girls that chose the American Idols. Despite having a contestant that strip in gay clubs as a finalist, American Idol has yet to have an openly gay finalist during the show (those who are gay, from Jim Verarros to Clay Aiken, have all come out later). So American Idol 8's top 12 has an apparently once openly gay member but he is back in the closet and although he has yet to reference his sexual orientation on the show, everyone seems to be skirting around it by referring to him as “flamboyant,” as if this was the 1950s. During Friday’s conference call with reporters, most of the questions for Adam were about his clothes and “theatrical” performances, but no one came right out with it. Adam try to clears up any mystery by creating a false trail. Talking about a female co-star he says, "I've gotten to kiss those lips, and although it’s not my preference," and he pauses so the audience can chuckle. Once a guy on American Idol lose the tween girls, he is in serious danger. So even once openly homosexual dudes pretend to be straight on the show.

But still, his fans are fans, and last month, one fan created an entire 41-second video to insist that he's not gay, writing, "I want proof that he is gay before I start thinking that!!" So, will him open mouth kissing a bunch of guys be proof enough? Here is the proof you asked for:

Joanna Pacitti, the professional singer and "Idol" contestant who was disqualified because she already had a singing career. She landed a record deal with Geffen and released an album in 2006 that shipped over 15,000 albums. Also, she was disqualified to avoid any suggestion of unfairness. It seems she has a previous relationship with two producers of the show and after making the round of 36, she was cut from the cast.
