If you’re into hot sexy Australian blonde chicks in bikinis, then have I got a post just for you. Thank goodness I have never heard the so-called Aussie pop-star Sophie Monk singing because I think I might just have killed myself. Sophie Monk is a crappy actress too, and she can't do accents for shit, but damn does she look good in a bikini. I figure that's why she still gets any acting roles in movies at all. Not that I've seen her in much lately, besides her bikini that is. Which also isn't much (as far as clothing goes). Still, I'd rather see her in much less. She at least has the modeling thing to fall back on. Click on pictures to enlarge.

Ever since she broke up with that dude from that boy band Good Charlotte, Sophie has been spending a lot of time working out and in a bikini showing a lot of skin. And that my friend is not a bad thing. I think it’s her mating call, letting young hopefuls know she is not available.

    Sophie Charlene Akland Monk
(born December 14, 1979 in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia) is an Australian pop singer, actress and occasional model. She was once a member of female pop group Bardot and has since established a solo career with the release of an album, Calendar Girl. More recently, she turned her hand to acting, starring in films such as Date Movie and Click.

Monk's professional music career began in 1999 when she responded to an advertisement requesting girls with vocal and dance experience. Monk, who had been performing since she was eight years old, drove all night to audition for the first series of Popstars, a TV talent show which aimed to create a successful new girl group. In one audition, she performed a rendition of Marilyn Monroe's famous "Happy Birthday, Mr. President", working on her previous experience as a Monroe impersonator at Warner Bros. Movie World. After numerous rounds of singing and dancing workshops, Monk was selected as a member of the group, which was named Bardot.

Bardot became the first Australian act to debut at the #1 position with both its debut single, "Poison", and self-titled debut album. Further singles "I Should've Never Let You Go" and "These Days" followed and in August, the group embarked on its first national tour. Bardot performed at the 2000 ARIA Awards at which they were nominated in three categories.
