Host Steve Doocy asked him how he stayed so healthy and young-looking when he's in his 90s, and assumed it was because he didn't eat red meat. At first Borgnine says that he can't tell Doocy, but when they want to know, Borgnine leans over to Doocy and says "I masturbate a lot."
Or Ernie's not used to today's high tech microphones that can pick up these kinds of comedic gems, even when they are whispered into the Fox anchor's ear. When it comes to youthful regiments, masturbating a lot might actually not be a bad idea, but you should probably consult your doctor first -- just like the Viagra commercial say.
