Illusionist David Copperfield is being investigated by the FBI for allegedly raping a woman in the Bahamas. The illusionist owns a cluster of four islands in the Southern part of the country called Musha Cay which he claims is home to the “Fountain of Youth.” No, seriously. Anyways back to the rape. On Wednesday the FBI raided Copperfield’s warehouse in Las Vegas yesterday seizing “rapey” things like a hard drive, digital camera system, and $2 million in cash. Cofferfield’s lawyer, David Chesnoff, told People:
“If in fact those are the allegations, unfortunately false allegations are all too often made against famous individuals. But we are confident the investigation will conclude favorably.”
